The EGM will take place on 7th March in the Ratcliffe Bar and the long and short of it seems to be that the club, without major investment, risks being liquidated by the end of March.
Simon Gauge and his family have been putting money in to the tune of £566,000 in loans and are no longer able to loan any further money.
The proposal to be voted on is to make 9,000,000 ordinary A shares available to allow for the sale of Rochdale AFC with an overall majority shareholder having 90% ownership of the club, at a cost of £2million.
There will be many questions to be asked and at present, fans will have that opportunity to ask those questions on 29th February at the Fans Forum.
