Rhys Returns!
We don't normally announce signings on a Saturday but today is different as a former Dale defender made his return.
Dale have brought back defender Rhys Bennett on a deal until the end of the season.
The 31-year-old has been unattached since being released by Morecambe in the summer.
Bennett played for Rochdale between 2012 and 2016 and made 128 appearances in all competitions, scoring 7 goals in that time.
Since leaving Rochdale, he's had spells at Mansfield, Peterborough, Carlisle, Gillingham and Morecambe and has made 375 appearances over his career.
Welcome back Rhys!!
