Saints Transfer Latest ! Joakim Maehle

Saints are being linked with a right back with Cedric rumoured to be on his way out in this transfer window.

Rumour has been rife that Saints will sell Cedric Soares in this transfer window and if they do so then they are said to be already in talks with his successor Genk right back Joakim Maehle.

The 21-year-old Danish U21 international has been earmarked by Ralph Hasenhuttl Maehle, who can also play in midfield, cost Genk £1.3m from Aalborg in 2017.

His current value is said to be around £4 million according to transfermarkt, but this is the January transfer madness and he could cost twice as much, but Saints would perhaps see it as good business if they can get somewhere near double that for Soares, leaving them a hefty sum to add to the £12 million received for Gabbiadini.
