QPR Reserve and Youth Update

LFW brings you a brief update from the latest Reserve and Youth outings.

Last Saturday at Harlington, Rangers Youngsters were beaten in their opening Youth Alliance Cup game, going down 2-1 at home to Millwall. The opening rounds of the competition is played on a five-team league basis. After a bright start for both sides, Millwall took the lead on 11 minutes. Christian Nanetti brought the scores level on 37 minutes with a fine individual goal, but with 20 minutes to go, the Lions regained their lead, to which it was then always going to be difficult for the Young R's when Perring was sent of for a two footed challenge.

It is Youth Alliance Cup action again this coming weekend for the Young R's, as they travel to Aldershot this Saturday, 12th September.

Please Note; All home fixtures are played at Imperial College Sports Ground, Sipson Lane, Harlington, Middlesex - Kick-off 10.45am.

Moving on and yesterday, a strong looking Rangers Reserve side were held to a 1-1 draw away at Brentford. Alessandro Pellicori opened the scoring early in the second half, only for Charlie McDonald to earn the Bees a share of the points.
