Saints Icon Says Come And Get Me To Jurgen Klopp

Will Liverpool raid the South Coast yet again ? as a Saints legend invites Jurgen Klopp to come and get him . Saints fans will de devastated at the news !

One of the pleasures of the Virgil Van Dijk saga has been the responses on his twitter account from Saints legend Matt Le Tissier to the Liverpool media frenzy, but we didn't expect him to jump ship and want to join Liverpool himself.

Clearly he has been unsettled by what must surely constitute an illegal approach from the Merseyside club.

On his twitter account @mattletiss7 Le God declared.

"Happy deadline day everybody, keeping my phone on in case Jurgen calls if the VVD one falls thru, i can play sweeper in a back 3 😉"

This would be a mighty blow to Saints supporters if the man who has been loyal to the club for over 30 years suddenly uprooted to Merseyside.

However the Saints faithful would not blame him, as good as fast food outlets are in Southampton, in truth they could never match the opportunities offered on Merseyside, in Hampshire Le Tiss is restricted to the normal McDonalds fare and a man of his talents must surely aspire to test himself in the chip shops of Liverpool.

Nowhere down here can you get a Pie Dinner consisting of a Meat & Potatoe pie, chips, mushy peas and a dollop of onion gravy, this is the Champions League of takeaways and Le Tiss would want to test himself at the top level.

So he will sit by his phone and hope that Jurgen The German makes that call and he can join Jamie, Stevie and of course Jan Molby in the Lobster Pot tonight.
