Reports: Swans Close To Re-Signing Bony

It looks like Manchester City and Swansea will be doing business again with the BBC reporting that Wilfried Bony is closing in on a move back to the Liberty although nothing is expected to be confirmed ahead of the weekend.

The Swans have been linked with Bony throughout the summer and now looks as if their former striker could be on the way back for a fee that will be less than half of what Man City paid for him two and a half years ago.

Bony scored 25 goals in 54 games for the Swans before he was tempted away to join City but the truth is nothing has really worked for him since moving on and even a loan move to Stoke last year resulted in none of the successes that the player would have hoped for.

With Paul Clement saying that the attack is where his transfer focus is at the moment the truth of Bony being close to a return seems to be likely although no fee has yet been agreed between the two clubs ahead of any potential transfer.
