Camps pens three year deal
It wasn't even 5pm on Friday, but on the first day of pre-season training, Callum Camps went home with a brand new three year deal in his pocket.
It was a bit out of the blue when the news came through. With recent attention on fellow midfielder Jamie Allen, the news came through that Callum Camps had penned a new three year contract tieing him to the club until the Summer of 2020.
It's yet another boost to the club as Camps has shown that he is maturing into an outstanding midfielder, and with nine goals to his name from midfield last season, he must be one of the most sought after talents in the division.
There were rumours of interest from Blackburn earlier in the Summer, but they proved to be nothing but rumours and a squad that looked to be completely out of contract in twelve months time is slowly looking more and more long term.
