‘We’re definitely getting points deducted’ — Podcast
Former QPR favourite Hogan Ephraim was the guest in the studio for the final podcast of 2015 — and he came with anecdotes.
Ephraim was with Rangers for seven years in which time he got through 14 permanent or caretaker managers, five separate loan spells elsewhere and one Championship winner’s medal.
Now unattached following his release from Wycombe, he’s eyeing a return to the MLS in 2016 where he previously spent time with Toronto. But first he came into the QPR Podcast studio to run David Fraser, Paul Finney, Chris Mendes and Clive Whittingham through his memories of his time at Loftus Road.
Ephraim provides fascinating, frank insight into the chaotic situation at the club including…
- The day Iain Dowie was sacked for refusing to bow down to Flavio Briatore’s starting 11 demands.
- Luigi De Canio’s fondness for the London nightlife.
- What really happened with Jim Magilton and Akos Buzsaky in the Watford dressing room.
- How Gianni Paladini assuring the players everything would be alright regarding the Faurlin transfer hearing sparked panic in the dressing room.
