Rookie ref gets Wolves trip — referee
Peter Bankes, in only his second full season on the league list, is in charge of QPR’s trip to Wolves on Wednesday evening.

Bankes has refereed two games so far this season, booking nine on the first day at Birmingham v Reading and two at Huddersfield v Blackburn at the weekend.
Last season he showed 97 yellows and seven reds in 27 matches played almost entirely in League One and Two. His two Championship matches featured six yellows and a red at Forest v Cardiff and four yellows at Middlesbrough v Huddersfield.
