McGinty offered Shots deal
Former defender Sean McGinty has been offered a contract by Aldershot.
The former Man U trainee's move to Spotland didn't work out for all parties, and upon his release by the club at the end of the 2014-15 season, all he had to show for his time at Dale was a one minute cameo off the bench at Bristol Rovers in the promotion season.
An unsuccessful loan spell at Halifax fizzled out, but he impressed when spending time with Aldershot and that was enough to earn him the offer of a deal. He spent fifteen games with the Shots, playing at both centre half and at left back.
No deal has been signed as of yet.
