First One out of the Bloomfield Road Door
It was always going to be the case that when we started to hear about the retained list that those who fell short of making it would break ranks and announce their departure on Social Media. That's the case with Tom Barkhuizen who after six years at Bloomfield Road has announced that he is leaving the Seasiders via Twitter.
Comments from fans included:
Dan: Good Luck Tom your best off away from our circus. That goal at the Reebok will always be remembered.
TerminallyTangerine: Sad to see you go Tom. Always enjoyed your energy and commitment.
Chris: Good Luck Tom,another good Lad gone...My oldest used to play against u whilst he was at Poulton.
Emma: Best to be out of this shambles your too good for us....me personally i love you to have stopped ..brill player. Be missed!
We still await news of who is joining Barkhuizen on the released list which Lee Clark claims would happen on Sunday.
