Saints Linked With Out Of Contract Tunisian

The transfer window might be closed, but Saints might not quite be finished in their dealings according to the latest rumour mill reports.

Saints and Everton are reported to be interested in signing Tunisian international midfielder Mejdi Traoui who is apparently out of contract after leaving his home town club Esperance.

However this seems to be the work of his agent Jesse Learoyd-Hill who seems to be keen to get her client a deal with a Premier League club.

29 year old Traoui seems to have had a mediocre career so far despite over 60 caps for Tunisia, he seems to have played rarely for Esperance and even less during his time with Sadio Mane's former club Red Bul Salzburg during his time with them.

So although Ronald Koeman is being reported as being "Interested" I would advise Saints fans against getting too excited, however it is true that there are still deals to be done with a number of decent out of contract players out there in the market place, I wouldnt put it past the Dutch manager and the Saints transfer department to be casting an eye over them.
