Saints Fined ÂŁ20,000

Saints have received news of the punshment that they have been handed by the Football Association.

Saints have been ordered to pay a £20,000 as the punishment for their failure to control their players charge levelled at them by the FA, Saints did not contest the charge and effectively pleaded guilty.

Normally Saints do show great discipline on the pitch having one of the best records in the Premier for yellow and red cards, however on this occasion they snapped with not only the players losing their rag, but manager Mauricio Pochettino joining them on the pitch after the final whistle to berate ref Mark Clattenburg.
