McConville joins up
Dale boss John Coleman played his last throw of the dice on Thursday when he drafted in winger Sean McConville from Stockport on loan.
McConville has reportedly been a long term target for Coleman since arriving at the club, as he looked to bring to Spotland the man that he brought into League Football in his Accy days.
Coleman was most displeased when McConville left Accy last summer for the newly relegated Stockport County, but he regained his man when he swooped to make him Dale's final loan signing of the season.
The right winger has just over twelve months left on his contract at County, and it is assumed that should this move work out, then a permanent move might be on the cards.
Dale have had a good record in recent years of signings from Stockport, with the likes of Rickie Lambert, Adam Le Fondre, Owain Fon Williams amongst others joining from Edgeley Park.
