Danny Seaborne Returns To Staplewood On Monday

Nigel Adkins has slipped in the news in his pre Millwall interview

Whilst speaking to the Club's official website about his options for Saturday Nigel Adkins revealed that Danny Seaborne will return to work on Monday.

However the manager seemed cautious in what that would actually entail mentioning a return to the training ground enviroment" rather than a return to training, so that infers that Seaborne will be back at Staplewood, however in the first instance it would seem unlikely he would train with the team but do light non contact training to start working on his fitness levels and to be assesed and to work out a programme of how his work can be upped and at what pace.

Given that Seaborne has had five months out of the game, and that football clubs usually work on players for six weeks in pre season to get them to peak match fitness after a 5-6 week break for the players in the summer, its hard to determine just how long it will be before Seaborne can genuinely be back in first team contention, it could be anything between 1 - 2 months perhaps longer as Adkins words implied that he is still short of starting proper training at present and that his integration back at Staplewood on Monday may be more of a morale boosting excersise for the player rather than aything near full fitness
