Coleman: No to Dale
The lovely SSU people are now saying that John Coleman has rejected the chance to manage Rochdale after rejecting the terms that were offered to him.
Since the initial story broke yesterday afternoon, there were denials from Accrington which seemed to get more and more flimsy with each passing comment, but it seems now that Coleman has rejected the chance to replace Steve Eyre.
It would seem that an offer was made for Coleman and his assistant Jimmy Bell, but the move has fallen through after the two parties could not agree terms.
This of course now leaves Chris Beech still as caretaker manager without a win to his name and fully aware that the club have been rejected twice in their attempts to replace Steve Eyre.
