One thing we still need help in defense for sure at right back Valery did nothing to impress that he is the answer, and we still look like we need help in the center of defense.Going forward we did a good job and looked like the team was up for it today, overall was a good result but some of the same issues at the back look like they need to be fixed.Coys.

Excellent performance. Quietly optimistic that Ralph really is the right man to bring some relative success to us, despite the restraints. But it's true, like others have said, we really could do with finding a gem in defence. Although I thought Stephens had a good game.

I thought Hoibjerg had an absolute shocker. He looked like he was playing "the ball is lava". Too quick to give it to someone else and gave away possession far too much. How on earth we'll get £35m for him I have no idea and more so how deluded is he to think he's a top 6 quality player? I'd drop him and play Smallbone for the rest of the season. Obafemi was ineffective, Valery looked out of his depth which is a shame because I rate him. I'd have liked to see Tella on earlier, he looked hungry, as did Boufal.
Great 3 points, great GOALS, great captains performance by JWP. and so pleased to finally see the Saints back on the pitch.

After an initial flurry, Norwich were there for the taking and to our credit, we took them.

Redmond looks sharp, Stephens made a great run out of defence. Ings and Armstrong after a a bit of game time could be really scary. Ward Prowse earned his armband.

Unsurprisingly we looked fairly disjointed in attack. Around the box though enough individual quality showed to convert a good percentage of our chances.

Coyr. Great start now the top half beckons!

A great performance from nearly everyone in the end, despite the poor start in the opening 10 mins. Once the cobwebs were dusted off and we got back into our groove, we played some excellent stuff at times and could/should have had a few more.

Will take that result away from home any day and we are currently joint top with City in the re-start league !! Come On !!
