Impressed with what Arry is trying to do . Austin could have saved it for us but the missed penalty was unchararistic. Dissapointed but looking forward to the games ahead

This. Was a good win. For Pompey. Northampton are a poor side. James dunne had a good game in midfield with atangana. Two good goal's from Wallace & westcarr. So it's three home win in a row. For the blues. P. U. P .

Dreadful game, right result. Saints have an awful lot to do, they looked ponderous. where is the slick passing from last season, the players looked as if they were running on empty, and as for Pelle, what can you say he looks dreadful slow clumsy cant turn and yards off the pace. Without Wanyama and Schneiderlin we would be stuffed. Frankly I am extremely worried, because if this is the quality we can expect from Saints this season we will go down its as simple as that. We need a top striker, Hernandez for instance and a winger . I kept thinking Gallagher would have done better than Pelle, but he wasnt even on the bench. Not impressed at all. Shane Long 12 million?? yeah right....

Poor game, disappointing result. Teams looks unbalanced. Miss the neat, slick passing / inter play of last season. Seems to be no guile up front. Too direct with the balls lumped up to Pelle with his back to goal to whole time. One positive point is Tadic. Would like to see a decent striker and CB. We only had 2 attempts on target… It's a point on the board but a long road ahead.

Scrappy wins are vital in any season and this was a scrappy win. Was always a potential banana skin after last week but we came through it and lie 2nd. I'll take that ;-)
