Valid point and don’t disagree entirely but if you are expecting Colback, Field, Cook , JCS etc to be always be available then you are setting up to fail.
Drip feeding players in is ok, but en masse is likely to cause problems .

It’s like any job in the world. Experience is relied upon in the main .
You don’t need it, but it certainly helps.

Kevin’s not said that’s the only problem either. It’s just one factor .

Utter nonsense .

Although I think he has an axe to grind with previous owners/ CEO’s / hierarchy due to how badly he and some of his family have been treated over the years , I can tell you that he wants to see us winning and succeeding as much as any of us here .

He is just saying it like it is .
Maybe other ‘ex pros’s’ should be telling some home truths ?

You could well be right that it’s a joint decision.

But what doesn’t make sense to me is MC accepting that physicality and experience was what was going to keep us up last season, reacted by moving Dunne to right back and signing Hayden Andersen and Frey and tightening up those defensive areas ……..and then come the summer he would chuck that all in the bin and demand small or light weight or both , type footballers with no experience at all at this level.
That does just doesn’t make sense.
There is zero continuity there which is baffling ..unless …he didn’t have much of a say .
If he did , then he’s lost the plot .

Which I don’t believe .

He looks annoyed and angry and has done since the summer in my opinion. Something ,and I have no idea what,is not right .

And with the club telling us nothing about nothing, these ideas and connotations will only fester and grow .

My text message to my son at half time in it’s entirety:

“ so dull it’s beyond belief. Little bits of good play but they never last longer than a few seconds. Too easy at times to fend space between our back 4 and midfield .
Their keeper made a good save from Dembele.

Only 46% passing accuracy in the final third for us in that first half . So poor that stat!

Yes I saw the Meslier error last night . Not sure what he was doing ? 🤣”

I used dull, but I could have used slow, weak, poor, feeble, disinterested…..etc

The dildo of consequence rarely arrives lubed.

Well that’s line of the season sorted . Laughing to myself at Balham station like a lunatic .

Lots of anger in there too and I think that captures the mood .

1 more gripe about yesterday and I’ll shut up .

When Daniel Bennie heads that ball back across goal for someone ..anyone to simply tap home ..our 2 centre forwards stood still practically holding hands watching from outside the 6 yard box.

If that kind of chance doesn’t wet the juices of your strikers enough so they actually want and try to bundle the simplest chance over the line then we are bang in trouble.

My team losing to a team who is 0-4.

Sound familiar ?

I picked the Colts in the 80’s because they played in blue and White and lost every week .

The more I think about it the more it makes sense .

The team is playing nothing like the head coach’s career MO.

And is trying to play to the MO of the CEO and his number crunchers.
A 27 year old with zero coaching experience and only relies on ‘data’ to reach decisions.

If this is what’s happening and of course i could be wrong , but if it is, it’s total footballing suicide .

It leads to so many more questions . Questions people like Clive are not allowed to ask MC himself.

Yes , that was another interesting post .

Didn’t agree with either point about Paal though .
Dont recall him calling him out publicly or saying he wanted him out the club.
There were rumours and the ‘DOF’ might have wanted to move him on but no proof it was MC.

However, the rest is very much food for thought.

Agree with all the above too.

Not suggesting he is a world beater or should even start but he is direct and big and strong which is something most of this lot are not

As usual your line of thinking is much more ‘in depth’ than mine but something that maybe explains a lot .
Something is not right . MC’s team is not playing anything like his own career MO.
He doesn’t have the players to do it

Yeah the Ready and Roberts argument grinds my gears a bit.

Totally accept they were downgrades on Stejskal and Peacock /Maddix etc but they made a lot of appearances at a very high level . Both played in Premier league and they continually compared to what came immediately before them

I think what a lot of people have to come to terms with is everybody has their favourites and everybody has different opinions on those favourites and everybody else.
The umpteen pages on Lyndon proves that but some people find it hard to accept . Of course you can disagree and that’s a good thing but to tell others they are wrong is just a nonsense .
People also say things that are untrue to back an argument.

“Don’t let the unreasonable hatred of one blind you the failures of the other.”

The above is just not true . No one hated or hates GA . He just wasn’t very good and the style of play didn’t suite us . Not just when he was here but years of watching bits and pieces of Wycombe.
We all wanted him to succeed so much , but we looked rudderless with no sign of improvement.
It’s different with MC as we have SEEN what we can do and it’s up to him to get us out of it and if we are rock bottom approaching Christmas he will be down the road most probably too.

I admitted on another thread that I hate reading criticism of MC as I have so much faith in him but right now I can’t really disagree with any of it . We are set up wrong , with the wrong players in a system that does not work . I’d love to blame the players but it isn’t all them .
Time to MC to show us he is the real deal as some of us thought and get players playing to their strengths in showing some fight and passion but the most alarming thing for me right now is we are getting beat and just accepting it .

I think Dunne could adjust quicker and he doesn’t really take a look to see where the guy is , but against Millwall you saw Dunne come across from right back to cover the middle for their goal , but Cook doesn’t do that at all . He is in no man’s land .
Both are struggling at the moment although Dunne just looked so much at ease when he returned to right back .

My complaints about Cook are more to do with his leadership and his desire to drag his team mates to bigger and better things .
Him turning his back and rolling his eyes at Varane after his sending off were so poor no matter what we might feel .

I think it’s a fair comment .

Since JCS has been injured I think Cook has gone missing . What I mean by that is , he will always defend our goal to the best of his ability , but where is his leadership? Where is his passion? Where is he instructing , demanding better , praising people when something is done well ?

I was close to the pitch Tuesday and he was anonymous . Not hiding from defending , but hiding from dragging a bunch of inexperienced players to a higher level . He is the experienced one.
Why is he continuously try and get Frey in behind with long aimless balls? It’s not Sinclair Armstrong!
It’s Michael Frey. I’ve got furniture that moves quicker.

He’s not helping Dunne next to him at all and I expected much more . When the chips are down you want your experienced players stepping up , and he hasn’t done that at all. If anything , he looks lost without JCS next to him.

Much better since the subs but that could be Derby have downed tools.

I wonder if MC has finally run out of patience with the 2 Danes?

I know I have

2 of the worst goals from a defensive point of view I can remember and that’s saying something.

Embarrassing
