Yes, the dreaded month is back, rivalled only by dry January.
Mind you, I only drink twice a week these days - Monday to Thursday and Friday to Sunday.

Like many, I was bitterly critical of him, but from about last Xmas he was brilliant. I eat my words.
Hopefully nothing too serious.

Just heard in the pub that Kolli's going out on loan to Berwick.
He must be a border Kolli.

Is Eustace a better manager than Cifuentes?
at 20:56 29 Sep 2024

Marti keeping us up last season was little short of a Ressurection (don't tell my vicar I said that).
Yes, a disappointing start but perhaps not surprising with so many unfamiliar faces and no Chair.
We'll be fine.

The no ones bothered Blackburn match thingy
at 18:48 28 Sep 2024

Not great today, but it's worth remembering Blackburn have a 100% home record and are third in the table.
Clearly, Chair will make a huge difference when fit ( hopefully in a week or so? )

Apart from the difficulties posed by these kickoffs, I miss the integrity of all the clubs kicking off at the same time.
If you are involved in either promotion or relegation tussles, it was great waiting for the half times to see how rivals were getting on.
OK, most folk have phones to keep up with scores now but really, all the games should start together.

We should rename the Defector's Weld to the Deflector's Weld.

Ditto. I'd rather be at LR on a cold November/December afternoon, under a mackerel sky, than at the Copa. You know, the Copacabana as immortalised by Barry Mandible.
G'night.

Just been watching more about this on BBC news, Harrods' management accused of being aware of the abuse.
I've a good mind to stop shopping there.
