I thought Neil was a good shout there but they're doing what they did last year. Price on Harris coming back for the last ten games? Two more bad injuries in defence tonight as well. |

Ashby is five years older and has already been bought for Β£3m by Newcastle from West Ham, with all the salary and signing on fee that will have come with. Morgan is 18 and got released. |

I actually think it's completely the opposite way around - waaaaaay too confident in his own ability, body can't cash the cheques his mind writes. Just needs to keep it simple and build from there. |

Proper Premier League academy product. Paid a small fortune at a ridiculously young age and told repeatedly he was God's gift. |

The reason Madsen gets (justifiable) stick is things like this, where he's jogging about, going through the motions, 10 yards behind the play while other players - in this case a kid we got for nothing from Yeovil - are busting a gut to run and close and tackle.

He was hooked for sure. Came on, attempted 12 passes, gave six of those away, one led to the Hull goal. Shocking, and not for the first time. Not sure we need to really focus on that for now though. That was by and large a good performance and deserved win on a dreadful pitch in a three game week when we're 6/6 on the end of two of our longest away trips. |

"Finished?" is impeccable comic timing for somebody who reckons he doesn't speak the language. |

I got a typically arsey email a few months back when I moaned about us only getting the upper tier there who insisted any team can have the lower tier if they want it, but they have to pay for it upfront and the costs are on them if they don't sell it. |

Plymouth had nearly double that on the table from Lazio a year ago and turned it down. Would have been transformational for them. All in the timing these things. |

I get the sentiment, the Premier League is a horrible thing and following a club like ours in it is a slog, but we can't on the one hand kick the club for not taking the FA Cup seriously while on the other say we don't want to go up. Sport is meant to be about winning, achieving. Of course we should want to go up. |
