Anyone looking for a last-minute xmas present for a fan could do worse than buy a copy of "At the Match", an absolutely brilliant collection of photos from WSC.
Excellent stat! Three really tough games before the end of the year, fortunately two of them at home. I think we'll have a better idea of where we're really at after those games.
And a month away from new management. I completely agree that we now have much more solid foundations. We have a positive goal difference, unlike all the teams below us and a few above. Our defence is showing better understandings and our midfield is pressing hard, creating more turnovers. Our attack is also looking increasingly potent. The wins will come if we continue on this path.
Obviously I don't have a clue about what will happen in the January window. We might end up stronger, weaker or about the same. But I doubt that the future of the club will depend on it.
Quite an exciting game for a 0-0 draw, I thought. We could easily have scored four or more. The finishing touch just wasn't there for anyone today. But the undefeated run continues, and five consecutive clean sheets. The team is definitely on an upward trajectory.
Hoping for another home tie in the draw on Saturday morning. Against Birmingham would be the plum draw, though the most difficult. And would hopefully attract more than the 1100 hardy souls (including me) that braved the cold last night.
Agree that it was Flanagan's best game. He was given a lot of time to play the ball out from the back. Other sides might try to press a bit harder than Swindon.
On the Club website, there is no match report, and no highlights or full match replay. And on the Col U YouTube channel there are also no highlights or any post-match interviews. Is the Media Team on holiday?
