I wouldn’t pay them more than £500k to take him though.

Who is going to be the new manager?

It has to happen now. I think that may be the outcome regarding Sheehan as we’d have a hell of a job getting any experienced coach to come here the way things are at the club.

Agree with that. Aimless for most of the match….but you could say that for most of the team.
Let’s face it….we don’t have high quality players and struggle with changing systems. We are in a relegation battle so at lest stick to one formation and keep things simple.

Swansea City v Coventry City : Match day thread
at 18:23 1 Feb 2025

12 to 13 I would have said.
Despondent after that display today. You could see any confidence we had drain after the first goal. We looked a disorganised shambles after that. Coventry had pace and power, pressed well and gave us no space. We made the look like Real Madrid.

Can’t argue with any of that. We just don’t have the players to compete at this level due to years of mismanagement by the WRU. The only answer they threaten every time is to scrap the Ospreys. As if that will make things better.
As has been said on here it really was men against boys last night.

I may be wrong but perhaps he’s identified our club as a basket case and can’t get away quick enough for probably more money and a better run club.

Hit the nail on the head there. My house is well insulated, I have a modern gas boiler, I use less water due to rainwater capture for the garden plus a water meter, oh and all my electric appliances are low power usage including enough LED lights to cause a world shortage.
In essence my house is more efficient than ever yet bills for water and energy have never been higher.

Water charities wanting your money for overseas aid declare clean water is a human right. That does not appear to be the case in the UK.

If by some miracle terms are agreed I’d still put odds on that the paperwork won’t be finalised in time.

I agree. When you look at the chances Bianchini has missed I think Vipotnic would have a better goal/chance ratio than him.

I think the decider should be who kissed the most babies during a long and arduous campaign for all parties 😂
A draw is fair though.

The whole club is in a slump it seems.

It looks and sounds very much like the micro managing CEO is a major part of our current issues. After relegation we struggled with finances and the flash sale of players. But things could have been so much better with more professional decision making.

Thoroughly agree….as depressing as it is. The club structure and management is nothing but amateurish and that’s putting it nicely.
Not exactly encouraging for potential candidates are we.
