Need a good laugh? Watch the second half of the Spurs v Man U league cup game. Craziest game Iāve ever seen. Thank god we have Paul Nardi for our keeper š |
| Forum Thread | Playing styles at 20:49 19 Dec 2024
Was talking to an old team mate recently about where have all the wingers gone which morphed into a discussion about how every team seems the same in the modern era. No 4-4-2, no wingers who want to skin their fullback to get in a cross just endless passing sideways and backwards to keep possession. Particularly noticeable in international football. Iāve watched every World Cup since ā78 and I every game saw a contrast in playing styles - Dutch ātotal footballā, British teams playing a high tempo 4-4-2, South American teams with their fast transitions but now it all seems so bland. Are wingers becoming extinct? Not while we have Smythy š |
| Forum Thread | Whatās wrong? at 09:52 7 Oct 2024
There seems to be something not right with the squad. New players maybe not fitting in? Definitely something wrong. Letās hope Marti can sort it out. |

Poor old Ziyad carried off on a stretcher in the game against Hearts. Was really hoping heād come back better after a solid loan spell. Letās hope heās ok. |
| Forum Thread | Diving at 01:17 23 Jun 2024
I love football but fck I hate all the diving. Itās laughable watching big strapping lads 6 foot 5 and 120 kilos falling over at the slightest touch. Some of the refs seem to be wising up a bit to it but all it is, is cheating. Single worst thing about our sport. Rant over |
| Forum Thread | The terrific trio at 01:59 26 Mar 2024
Worries me that Brum have 3 ex-Rs in Laird, Robertās and Dozzell playing on Friday. We all know theyāre pretty crap but if ever they were going to get motivated to shove it down our throats this would be it particularly at LR. Letās trust the Rs get stuck in early š |
| Forum Thread | Chair at 20:57 10 Mar 2024
Was wondering why Chair seems a bit off his usual game then the penny dropped - Ramadan. Heās probably weak and dehydrated from fasting. No doubt itās probably a hanging offence for Marti to drop him for that reason. At least we know heāll be back to his old self soon (police charges notwithstanding |
| Forum Thread | Eze at 06:33 1 Mar 2024
Various outlets now claiming that Spurs and City (again) are looking at Ebs with Palace valuing him at c.7 million pounds. As an Aussie, I obviously know a bit about what Big Ange wants in a player and Iād say Eze fits the bill - quick, skilful and mobile. Defo an Ange type as far as I can see. Is it 10 or 20% weāre in for if heās sold? Cash injection like that could make next season a bit more comfortable. Hope he gets his big move as heās a great example of determination and self confidence. Should get more England caps at a bigger club too. |
| Forum Thread | Micro managers at 19:29 18 Feb 2024
Started a new job recently and my boss is a huge micro manager. Sends me tons of emails starting at 5.30 every morning mostly asking me to do something by a certain time. She often does the task herself then turns around to flog me for not doing it myself. I know we have a lot of wise people on here so Iād really appreciate any advice as to how the hell you manage a micro manager. To top it all off sheās also passive aggressive and menopausal. Help! š [Post edited 18 Feb 19:30]

Rotherham 1-0 up home to Hull and Sheff Wed losing 1-0 at Leicester. Another one who could get dragged in to the relegation scrap is Swansea. Currently 2-0 down at home to Leeds. |
| Forum Thread | RIP Charity Park Rangers? at 05:55 4 Feb 2024
With Blackburn so out of form we would normally have been expecting to be the whipping boys who let them break their losing streak. Instead, weāve broken a 25 year hoodoo and hopefully killed off Charity Park Rangers for good. We really are turning a corner under Marti and are starting to show some guts and mental strength. Some bloke on Twitter (yeah I know) is claiming that Sincs is leaving us and has removed all QPR pics and now closed his account. I was following him so I checked and yes, his account is completely gone. Anyone know what the hell is going on at our club? |

Anyone know whatās happened to Kolli? Was quite impressed with his technique and general attitude. Thought heād be a Marti type player too. Merry Christmas fellow Rs š

Been quite impressed with the cameo appearances of young Ziyad. Looks a big solid unit but I mostly love his determination to stay on his feet and win the ball. Is it time to give him a start? As Marti has said, we need all the squad and playing him gives us options to rest Paal or move him in to midfield where he seems comfortable. Nice to have some proper options for a change. |
| Forum Thread | Joe Lumley at 21:04 12 Nov 2023
Heard a London accent at work the other day so naturally asked him who his football team was. He said Man U and when I told him I was QPR he saidāDo you remember Joe Lumley? Iām his brotherā We had a chat and he told me that Joe was set to come back before we signed Begovic. He also said Joe didnāt get along with Warburton and that several of the players found him to be arrogant. I said Joe was a good shot stopper but his kicking let him down but heās apparently worked very hard on this and this is no longer the case apparently. Joe now at saints as 3rd choice. Interesting intel on Warbs. |

| Forum Thread | England v Socceroos at 05:42 12 Oct 2023
Pretty sure youāll be too good for us but I hope McGuire plays as weāve got a few tricky youngsters and a quick front 3. Might be a few Aussies whoād fit the bill for the Rs. Keep your eyes on CB Kye Rowles currently playing for Hearts in Bonnie Scotland. Letās hope itās a good game played in the right spirit. Sorry to say I think itāll be a reverse of the last time we played in London - 3-1 to England |
