The 2 obscured are Bosingwa and Granero.
If he went with those pictured it would be
Cesar
Bosingwa Nelsen Hill Traore
Mbia Diakite
Mackie Granero Taarabt
Cisse
Good possibility I'd have thought. He'd need to get Bosingwa improving by an extraordinary amount!
I think that you will find that the player obscured on the right, behind Kevin Bond is Faurlin, check the boots and the white socks against the picture with Faurlin in it above. The one on the left could easily be Keiron Dyer and not Bosingwa. If this is the starting eleven then it will be the same eleven with Diakite taking the place of Derry.

The earmuffs give away that it is Bosingwa.
Faurlin has white boots on & Granero blue Adidas. The man next to Bond has blue Adidas boots on as does Mackie next to him.

Think, Krop, that's just an example of the Mail being thick tvvats
It does look like it'll be this kind of team, possibly with Mbia sweeping up like a bit of a Huddlestone (?)
I do like that it could look to push Granero forward into the hole
One major issue though is how much talking to (even if it would work) Diakite will need. He's very likely to come out pumped up and dishing out kung fu kicks, and O'Neill's Sunderland are very likely to be anticipating that

Think I may have got it spot on, hope it's that formation, good cover for the defence and plenty of scope for the 3 to get forward and support Mackie and Cisse.
Playing to full potential (and that's the big question) that should be a very capable side.

Looks like it, HT.
Though there's always the potential for it to be a 4-4-1-1 matching up with Sunderland, Granero in behind Cisse and Mackie on the right.
Either way that picture was always going to be a string indication.
