SUFC fan here with a pre-match tip for you.
Those of you who like your ale, there is an excellent beer festival on in Rochford (2 miles from Roots Hall or two stops from Prittlewell on the train - 5min journey). It is at the Freight House which is very close to the station.
If you want to drink closer to the ground, the Blue Boar is fine I believe and you will be ok in the Railway, next to Prittlewell station (only IPA and that's of dubious quality). Spread Eagle is home fans only.
Should be a good game, scored eight in two now and previous game vs Port Vale could have ended 5-5 but somehow was 0-0. With your great away record it could go either way. |  | | |
