Time to go Jim. The turning point 16:36 - Feb 22 with 24134 views | ThreeLions | Losing to the team on top and in form is no great shame but the way you do it by playing absolute dross is clearly on show this afternoon. Today has to be the turning point that the owners see it's not working and we need a change if we are to save the season. Crowds are falling, the players look totally demotivated and drained of any spark they once held. I've given him a bit longer to sort it out after him sticking with us last season when we were on the brink of nonexistence but you can't run a football team off the past and the current and future holds more importance. Thanks for everything Jim we appreciate it but it's just not working.

Time to go Jim. The turning point on 13:43 - Mar 12 by D_Alien | Correct, which is why JM has to put a team out on Saturday that believes in itself They've every reason to, but then they had after the convincing Yeovil victory which sadly led to a series of non-performances, starting with the home loss to Oldham For that reason alone, Saturday will be approached more in hope than expectation |
Oldham bullied us all over the pitch a few weeks ago and they'll try to do that again on Saturday. They'll try to stop us playing our pretty football. Everybody knew that we had to stop Fondop , we left him unmarked in front of the goal and gave him a free header. Rank bad defending and it cost us the game. We need to try to keep the ball as far away from our goal as possible on Saturday because Latics adopt the same tactic as Tamworth, they launch free kicks and throw ins into the box at every opportunity. We can out football them though and cause them problems if we play on the front foot rather than trying to manage the game and overplay in our own half of the pitch. [Post edited 12 Mar 19:44]

Most teams at this level could outfootball them, you’re right though, need to try and stop them getting the ball into our defensive third. Best way is to keep the ball as much as possible, which we didn’t do in the home game. Conlon returning does improve them, and I do wish we’d made an addition in the middle of the park because that’s one area they’ll have an advantage of it becomes a battle. Rossiter got amongst East and Gilmour last time, though with both looking to drive on more now that could negate any advantage they have. Barlow will be key.

Yes, when the manager has cited tiredness as being our enemy I'm very surprised that we didn't strengthen in midfield. East and Gilmour are probably more susceptible than other players when it comes to eventually running low on energy, they always put a big shift in and there is nobody to replace them. You're right about Conlon, he's quality.
