Swansea City : Sorry Luke, but this simply isn’t working on 20:11 - Jan 18 by SullutaCreturned | This website was split badly oiver Martin, many of us wanted him gone before the second season. Some of us took longer and others still would have him back. Maybe they have learned from that? |
I wanted Martin to stay, but I wouldn’t want him back

Swansea City : Sorry Luke, but this simply isn’t working on 05:44 - Jan 19 with 1372 views | jack247 | Sheehans football wasn’t too dissimilar to Duffs when he was in charge. I’m assuming he’d have us playing similarly to Williams if he stepped in now. All we need is the team playing with a bit more conviction. Not change too much, just remove the bad apple/boss the team have lost respect for from the equation. He’s not a kong term option, but I’m sure that would be enough to steady the ship for the rest of the season. Sheehan promoted Williams on gardening leave No real impact on PSR Or is that too simplistic?

Not too simplistic as I've said elsewhere. It's the perfect short term solution until we sort ourselves out financially. Restructure at the end of the season.

I didn't criticise you mate, I just disagreed with the suggestion. Sheehan is a big part of Williams's team also. Some are for him, some against.

I am in the same boat. Think we need a major cut from any links with him as it will just be deja vu all over again. When Williams goes then Sheehan needs to go also.....tors need to be cut with Watson also. I fear now if Williams turns things around even in the slightest that some will just play on it's being done by others at the club or he is now playing players in their correct positions etc. I just feel that some posters have too much pride to turn around and say well done to him due to his links with Martin. I know it can be argued that some won't say he needs to go if it's going bad.....I would cross that bridge if we are in a dog fight rather than where we sit presently in mid table. Fans have made their minds up,some stronger characters won't go back on it. Things need sorting to as align fans and getting rid of Williams might be the start that's needed.

Swansea City : Sorry Luke, but this simply isn’t working on 19:56 - Jan 18 by SullutaCreturned | Todays team selection, Cullen up front' it doesn't work but Cullen at CAM has been working, that was a mistake. Allen starting, hindsight maybe but a mistake. Not that Eon or Ronald got many crosses in but Cullen won't win those headers. Allen really needs to retire, I think he's gone, done. If he retires we can juse his wages on new players. To precis, Williams get sacked, Cullen at CAM and Allen retires, it's what we need PS, Eom and Ronald need crossing practice. |
Ronald needs basic ball control methods. At this level , really needs to be better

Swansea City : Sorry Luke, but this simply isn’t working on 20:37 - Jan 18 by vetchonian | No soft spot Just observant....we have a poor squad...look at today's bench ...Fulton Naughton Christie.....all decent ayers but in the twilight of thier careers. Apart from Cabango and Darling we don't have any centre backs.....I doubtnif both where fully fit today but they had to be played. We as fans talk about us playing the Swansea Way...passing the ball.....This manager is trying to do so and mixers it up with long balls....amazingly after the Southampton game the.manager was critiscised for being obsessed with short passing yet he has had his critics for Vigs long kicks. Wee are mid table and are so for a reason we have a squad of mid table quality....the Championship is strange on their day any team can get a win If Ronald and Eom were special don't you think the likes of Leeds,or lower premier league clubs wouldn't have taken a punt? Yeah Williams is not a "great" manager but who else could do a job with the resources Denise critiscised for not using more of the U21s Much has been spoken of the wage situation mayne Williams is restricted to bringing in additional players to the squad. We have a budget...already burdened we are told with the wages for Pederson ...maybe Williams can't add additional cost ....whilst the u21 have a basic maybe there is additional cost due ti adding if and when they sit non thee bench ir play for thee first team. Maybe I overthink things but I got it right when Potter was here and folks were slating him for not picking Routledge.. Let's sack Williams who played entertaining winning football at Notts County.....with 3 at the back....... Let's hear it who replaces him.....and our third manager in 2 years....signs if a club in crisis....don't hear Man City fans calling for Peps head |
I agree that Williams has done a decent job and I was up for keeping him. Mir does look like he’s lost thendressing room now though, since wba crap. Thinknhes done mate.

I’m definitely not keen on Sheehan long term, but if he’s lost the dressing room, it will definitely be better. Grimes even.

it was Sheehan who introduced Parker at Coventry in December 23. According to his stays he only played twice last season

Really thought he had more than the two appearance even if it would have been off the bench but it would seem that was the case?
