Cabango and Darling crunch time is here 13:35 - Dec 22 with 3377 views | ReslovenSwan1 | These guys will have to sign a new deal this week or the club will have take a take action and decisive action. I am of the opinion that having non committed players in the dressing room talking about money they can get elsewhere is bad for team morale and undermines the manager. Watson and co have not worked properly and given Williams options at center back. If I was in charge both players either sign by the end of this run of games or will be playing they last games from Swansea. The club will have to get 2-3 quality loans in or at least one permanent sharpish for January games. Could Fulton serves as CB? Williams does not seem to have made any provisions for the duo running down their deals. What has he been doing?. "Hoping for the best" ?. Both player cannot be allowed to play games with the club. He is injured and if he comes to Swansea will also spend too much time being injured like Allen.

They "felt disrespected apparently" and no doubt voiced their disgust in the changing room. Williams is at a loss as to why he cannot motivate the team. Why could Williams not motivate this team? Most of the senior professionals will be gone next season. Cabango, Darling, Allen, Pederson, Naughton, Fisher. [Post edited 22 Dec 16:16]

Swansea Independent. The texts included a comment from Williams that " bridges had to be rebuilt". I read Keith's reports.

Cabango and Darling crunch time is here on 15:10 - Dec 22 by ReslovenSwan1 | Cooper did it with Asoro. " I have told Joel he will not feature under me". he was gone shortly after, Swansea have just put in one of the poorest performances for some time and the club has hit a tipping point. The manager has hinted at mentality issues. I believe Cabango and Darling are part of the problem as they are ticking over until they can earn "proper money". The whole team were "ticking over" on Saturday. Cabango and Darling while doing OK are not irreplaceable and their replacement should have already been in the squad. In my opinion if Darling and Cabango are told they have played their last game they will get their agent to bring forward their plans 6 month with a fee to be paid. Naughton can finish his career at Swansea as centre back. If you have a problem you fix it. They should have gone in the Summer. I do not buy this continual "its the previous owners fault" line. Who's fault it is, is irrelevant. Coleman is and was calling the shots. [Post edited 22 Dec 15:14]

Morning all, i was just pointing out he was not involved and did not know he had been injured,, we need him playing as Wales need him Now about our 2 current centre backs, they clearly have not had an offer they cannot refuse or they would have signed so perhaps we are unfortunatly now in a situation do we try to move them on and replace this window or let both go for free in the summer? we should never have got to this situation but here we are, we all know why for me the new owners have a big job on their hands to win supporters back sort what on earth has gone wrong on the field of play and of course sort out a new director of football ( do we need one?) but Everyone can see a marked drop off in the team and last sats game realy brought home where we actually are, no where near a top half side more like abottom quarter side not good enough and the players NEED to look at themselves and the manager coaching staff need to shake things up or this is going to be a bad christmas cvompliments of the season to one and all happy and healthy new year lads and lasses

Cabango and Darling crunch time is here on 15:52 - Dec 22 by KeithHaynes | They can sign unofficially, if they haven’t already. Leeds are now confirmed as in for Darling as far as this website is concerned. |
Originally I could not see either Darling or Cabango leaving, it just wouldn't make financial sense to the individuals. But with Leeds in for Darling it is entirely possible. They would pay him far more than us even in the championship, my original thought was a signing on fee, but Leeds could counter this with Darling and include a promotion bonus and tiered wages depending on the league. As for a transfer fee they could come in with a low ball offer with a promotion bonus, it would then be up to the club to decide if they wanted to accept. Whatever happens this has gone on to long and should have been sorted last summer at the very latest.

Darling leaving ? Are we talking about this January or in the summer Either way, our most consistent player and one which will leave a massive hole to fill I’m hoping our people are looking around

I can’t see anything but him going which is a real shame. We may hold onto Cabango, may, but I won’t be getting the bubbly out for that one sorry. Hopefully, as you said, we are looking into the market to see what is around. Here and abroad.

Morning Darling used to drive me nuts with his antics but he’s stopped that crap He has become a better player and it looks like we can’t hold him Frankly,I’d have made him a vastly improved offer and the captaincy too.

He needs to know that he will be playing at a higher level soon and we need to be honest, there’s little to no chance of that as things stand. Money may not be the answer because clubs with almost guaranteed chances of playing in the PL next season will pay more anyway. He’s gone.

No certainty that he would be selected in the PL. I don’t think he’s that good However ,Guehi has done well enough since being with us

I think in a better side - better players, better coaching - he’d do well at PL level. One thing for certain, he won’t be in with a chance of playing in the PL next season staying here. Please prove me wrong🙏

If by some form of witchcraft the Swans did go up we would be a complete embarrassment regardless of who we signed.

Keith We would have to replace the whole team Not this year We can still be optimistic though but it depends on these current owners We were glad to see K and L go but we need real brass to even stay where we are I’m pretty concerned but not yet worried myself as I’ve seen the future and it’s ok

If there is truth that Leeds are in for him, he’s as good as gone whether they go up or not. Any fee paid in January will be minimal Embarrassing & pathetic are just two of the words to sum up the lack of commitment from the previous owners. He should have been made a better offer with captaincy before the end of last season

Coleman told the fans he called the shots not Levien. He of curse had to work to a budget. We live in a world where team do not buy players if they carry a big fee. Darling is Ok £1m but not £5m. Money is tight. Bristol city wanted him perhap for even less. With an auction it may fo go up to £2.5m .

Cabango and Darling crunch time is here on 11:32 - Dec 24 with 266 views | shaggyrogers | Cabangos form has certainly dropped last few games. It could well be due to contract talks. The club need to tie both players down as it will cost a lot more to replace.
