In January Ward had a knee op and was laid off work for the rest of the season. A keeper coach called Andrew Sparkes came in on a temporary basis. He must have left now as he's not been mentioned so I suppose we assume a new keeper coach will be recruited. |  | | |

Sounds like more of an oversight/link up role for the goalkeeping dept, but considering he's recently spent 4 years as a coach I'm sure he's able to put his hand in where needed. Interesting that he got as far as Asst Manager too - which you don't often see from GK coaches. | |
