Saints have offered 5 million which has been rejected. We are expected to go back with a higher offer maybe 8 million.

I guess it's because players with long-term injuries come cheap and when they're fully fit they can be sold for a profit.

He looks good, maybe we’ve found our new Ricky Lambert, just a few years late

He's been out injured since last January and isn't back on grass yet. That's also how long he's been stalling on a new contract. One year left and his heart isn't at Sunderland now. Sunderland either keep him, hope he comes to form and writes off £5-6m at season's end or takes an offer of £6m+addons and wipes it down. I think Adams to Everton, Stewart to Saints and Sunderland still with no strikers on the books (fit or unfit) still playing 4-6-0 until the Christmas window opens.

Maybe we keep Che until January, which tides us over until Stewart is fit.

We then sell Che in January, possibly to a side in relegation trouble in the Prem, who might be desperate and could therefore pay him more than he might get if he left now.

We would lose a few million on the fee in probability, so it may not be ideal from our perspective.

Unless we get him to sign a new contract now, but have a gentleman’s agreement that he can leave in January….

Possibly but can’t see why we’d loan him, unless Wolves give us £15 million loan fee but then they might as well buy him.

Don’t understand how all those rumours started as supposedly they only want him on loan, yet with only a year left on his contract, why the f would we wanna do that!? 😂
So unless they offer a permanent deal for a price we see as good enough, which I highly doubt, then I very much doubt I can see this one happening

They have cash to spend after selling that idiot to City.

Yeah but by the sounds if it they don’t want to, and even with that money I don’t think they’d be willing to spend that much on Adams

Looks like the deal is done at Sunderland. Ross Stewart to Saints at £6m.
Oh well.

How an earth does he pass a fitness test. We are turning in to a Scotland old boys club.

Like wise I can’t for the life of me understand why we would loan him. My guess is. Che isn’t going to sign a new contract and maybe he has said he will sit it out rather than move. So we are trying to get a loan fee and save on his wages
