Remember super subs 15:14 - Oct 22 with 1860 views | KeithHaynes | David Fairclough springs to mind at Liverpool. I’m leaving it open for Swansea and any other teams you can think of. Fairclough takes some beating mind.

Yes he supported Rangers from being a boy, around that time the bigotry came from Rangers as regards who they would sign and not from Celtic.

As I say a great man who treated people with respect and as a footballer, few British players better. Best Brits off the top of my head John Charles Matthews Finney Wright Blanchflower D Law Best Charlton Greaves Dalglish

Just checked they reckon Rangers went about 70 years with a policy of having no Catholics (Linfield something similar from memory ?,I will have to check that one out). Rangers then went the best part of a decade before signing another one, some say it was because they were about to get into trouble with world football authorities. They reckon the guy that signed even the kitman would not put out his kit, protestant players and staff that even married a Catholic were said to be hounded out of the club and apparently even in more recent times any Catholic players were told not to wear religious jewelry on the field and not to cross themselves in front of the supporters. Those are the stories about Glasgow Rangers for you. I'm sure Perch is well aware of what Rangers are like. [Post edited 23 Oct 2020 18:06]
