Match thread: Scunthorpe away on 15:38 - Mar 24 by 442Dale | Note: we have had two free kicks in the last five minutes where the ball has rolled out of play for Lillis to collect. In total around 50 seconds was lost while the ball was retrieved before the kick was taken. We do it too. |
I went to the Gothenburg derby earlier today. Every ball boy has a ball and throw it to the player immediately and go and retrieve the one kicked out. Very noticeable how the game speeds up. Also means the team defending the throw in can be caught out by very quick throws which happened a couple of times

Match thread: Scunthorpe away on 15:43 - Mar 24 by 100notout | Its about expectations. Camps has had a great couple of years before this season and rightly regarded as one of our most saleable assets - possibly ÂŁ1m+. This was the season we all expected him to kick on and improve further but he hasn't - if anything he's gone backwards and thats why people are disappointed. Worth remembering though that he was seriously ill earlier in the season - no doubt that has and possibly continues to affect his performances. Lets all hope he can get back to how he was |
A good assessment. Camps has been poor in recent home games and cost us the opening goal the other night, today he’s doing much better and it was a typical strike for his goal.

Match thread: Scunthorpe away on 15:23 - Mar 24 by DaleFan7 | Good news that we've scored but do you really have to be pedantic about it all the time? 2 goals in 32 games, superstar. |
Can't be critical of anything

Match thread: Scunthorpe away on 16:14 - Mar 24 with 3361 views | dingdangblue | Bad time to concede. Sounds like Scunthorpe have had a rollicking at ht and woken up. Let's hope we can regroup and get back in it. Hope it doesn't go the same as Charlton away, Gillingham away, Bristol Rovers away. Come on Dale!

Ollie off now. Looks like groin strain so could be a while before he is back
Match thread: Scunthorpe away on 16:43 - Mar 24 with 3005 views | Sheffdale | I'm not a stats man but shots (14) and on target (5) sounds a decent effort. Hope they manage to come away with a least a point. I was there last season when Scunny scored in last minute after a decent Dale performance. Not superstitious - but any football gods looking in please ignore!

Someone marked me down for saying “oh bollox” to us conceding . And for saying “get in” when we scored. Must be a Bury troll 🙂 [Post edited 24 Mar 2018 16:57]

That's a better sub - Calvin important at both ends - but Stephen Humphrys please replicate the Wembley goal!

Absolutely, decent away results need backing up with good home results.

Well we've drawn too many - but today is a welcome draw - just a change not to lose after being pegged back - it must be the 1st time this season away? Northampton and Wimbledon both lost so it's another point gained. An unlikely win v Shrewsbury would be a good way to end our 'not winning' run at home.

Northampton and AFC Wombles losing keeps us in with a shout, it doesn't really matter what Bury do any more (except against us and other relegation rivals),l
