There’s a reason this is the busiest most popular Swans forum out there and that’s because Phil has never wanted debate, disagreements deleted.
The way people are able to speak on here is what’s made it what it is.

You are in the clique, you tow the party line, anyone talks about things the powers that be don't like and it's a different ball game.

It’s never been a policy to ban people on here but some mods like Lord Bony let it go to their heads.
The owner of this site is 100% against banning and the removal of posts. I’ve actually had a conversation with him this very weekend about posts and threads being deleted and it’s going to stop.

You had a conversation with the owner of the site did you butt, is that a regular thing or a one off ?

Seems fairly obvious to me that someone like Lisa, with genuine Non-Executive experience that would ask awkward and pointed questions and knows her way around a boardroom should be asked if she would take the role of Supporter Director. The nice, silent, friendly, amateur pussycat we have now is a complete and utter waste of time.

Won't happen of course because Trust 'regulations' prevent it. Didn't prevent the HC situation and Jim White visibly shown to be dissembling about it on the other forum, or others being co-opted to the Board, but there we are, regulations is regulations when it suits. And yes, that is a deliberate provocation and to prove it false and get someone with more guts and drive into that boardroom to stir things up.

No doubt in my mind that the Trust Board's main objective is to maintain the status quo, not for any personal gain, but because they like their comfortable bubble where having meetings, and reporting back, seems like having an impact on the club they love. It isn't.

Do I want to stand? No. So I guess that means I have to STFU while the whole thing runs into the ground, steered by the same old loveable faces with the best intentions.

Yes, I'm still pissed off about the legal action manipulation (can you tell?) and the desire at any costs to maintain the Trust in a useless ineffective position. What's the next step? Give any money back to the Yanks in the Championship next year to help pay Clucas' wages? Does anyone think that far fetched now.

Ach, I'll stop posting about this now. I've said that a few times, so I'll really try this time, but where we are as a club is just making my blood boil, and I am totally fed up with it all.

Quote: " Give any money back to the Yanks in the Championship next year to help pay Clucas' wages? Does anyone think that far fetched now."

From what I've witnessed with stuff like the grubby Morgan/Van Zweden travel club etc. I would not be surprised in the slightest

I donated a fair amount to SCST over a period of quite a few years and quite a few others I'd guess also. The last thing I'd want is for my cash is for it to be used as bail out to a bunch of parasitic, leeching, lowlife, scum-bag filth Trojan Horse impostors. The Trust money.....MY money......OTHERS money should never be used as a fund to aid and abet sh#t under all our shoes. That money would be better served going to local charities!

None of us, yourself included are simple children who can be manipulated easily.
You have very strong viewpoints on certain matters and will not be shifted from those, whatever anyone says or whatever you witness. I respect that, even if we fail to agree on a lot of things.
However, you fail to see that many other posters (myself included) are not easily manipulated either.
We all see what Phil and co do and make our own individual judgements on that.

As you will have noticed, Darren has appeared, like he's done throughout the years with his version of shutting down debate.

Well when someone started a thread about the Trust/Jenkins a few weeks ago you tried to shut it down by saying you didn’t care anymore and it was time to move on.
A couple of weeks later you do care and don’t want to move on. Why is that?
Do you actually know your own mind?

Any dissenting voices over the years Darren has appeared to try and mock, humiliate, interrupt debate.

Laughably, he would do this when Jenkins and the old Board.were in the firing line from me. He's done this right through his time on here but now he's all for their axing.

He has done exactly the same thing when Phil. Jim,.Cooze have been in the spotlight.

This is Phil's site. It's more than suited his position in the Trust over time.

He should never have allowed himself to have these concerns and accusations labelled at him.

I've said this for donkeys years as well

It's just how the Trust is and like Monmouth calls it, it's all about regulation, until it suits them otherwise.

We so need a change in leadership and Trust Board members, their arrogance in holding their positions for so long is a bloody insult.

So a couple of weeks ago when someone started a thread to debate it you said.....

It's done and we should move on. Jenkins and Co. were devious, the Trust were useless, the 2 entities will always be remembered in this way.

There's going to be a bitter taste in the mouth for a little while but there's no way I'm losing any passion for my football club and it pisses the fuçk out of me people moaning on like little girls.

We're getting older and we made our footballing dreams - but it was partly down to those 2 entities above so never forget that.

We've got a fuçking big game coming up and a league full year on year if we keep our heads and keep on keeping on. We're Premier League FFS

GROW UP!!!!!!!!!

So why don’t you tell the posters of Planet Swans why a couple of weeks later you’ve changed your mind? And whilst you’re here tell everyone why you spent a whole game a few months ago shouting out “Jenkins you kunt” and why a few months later you’ve changed your mind on that one too.

As if anyone needed any evidence please see what he's trying to do now...

This happens over and over and over again. He's a nasty, tiresome arse hole with his tongue firmly planted up the one person that can make him happy, Phil, because his life is this one website.

But just to humour him.

I'm desperate to put all the nonsense behind us, especially in light of recent home games when the fans have been more interested in picking aimless fights than getting behind the team. This has had an obvious consequence on results.

I'm also very grateful for the work Jenkins and Co did for us, in the main, in realising our football dreams for us. Also the original Trust who saved the Club, galvanised the support and were there when the club needed them.

I am not grateful for the present Trust and have made this point clearly for some time. I believe they are the entity most at blame for recent times, not the unscrupulous old Board for the way they disposed of their shares, as bad as that was and as furious I was AT THAT TIME, I blame the Trust for their lack of safeguarding, lack of courage and lack of reaction.

This is still the case and still needs to be addressed. However, this type of addressing isn't likely to spill out on the pitch and affect the the players in our quest for Premier League survival.

I don't give a monkeys for Phil's servant and aide or the fact he repeats a quote of mine from a few weeks ago, the message hasn't changed.

As I said to Ux yesterday, the time to go after the old Board was last season and I was all up for it. Now isn't the time to do that inthe stands as we'll end up cutting our noses off to spite our faces.

Back to the main topic, if Darren doesn't succeed with more Phil brown nosing.

Darran. You are doing exactly what the Res is accusing you of though. You are trying to deflect the debate away from its focus. And he's right that you do that a lot on Trust issues, often by asking if people are members or not. Repeatedly.

I couldn’t give a fuçk what you say about the Trust I’ve stated it on here many times that I believe they’ve made massive mistakes especially over the Huw Cooze business but for “The Box Office” to heap more blame at Phil Sumblers door than at Huw Jenkins door is utterly farcical.

All you do is talk nonsense prosser. Rarely, very rarely do you make any worthwhile observations. And despite an obvious lack of any real understanding of important issues you will constantly try to undermine people who are making good, valid points and asking for explanations. The Trust being one. Phil Sumbler has almost disappeared. He may well be a tidy guy. That isn't the issue. As a group they have fooked up time and time again and are still messing things up with no direction, no strategy and no communication, all things they have said countless times would improve. Keep your beak out and let people make their points of view.

Great.

Now let's get back to the actual discussion shall we?

Which focuses around, when it comes to it, what sort of role should and does the SD take? What sort of communication should be expected from the Trust. Should supporters expect the Trust to be vocal on issues that are transparently plaguing the club at the moment. What is their position on the Chairman in light of yet another poor window. Where are they on the 'deal'. Are they involved in discussion about the manager. Etc etc etc.

All good valid questions. But it's not that simple. Presently, the Trust do as they're told. They were supposed to own one fifth of the Club. They were shafted by the owners and curiously didn't want to do too much about it. That still doesn't add up.

They need stronger individuals in important positions. Much stronger. New blood desperately. Regarding communication by the way, it needs to be detailed and regular. That's not in doubt but never happens, despite a million promises that it would.

The position of the chairman? He needs to go ASAP as our club isn't going to improve again until he's out of the equation and the other devious twunts need to go too. That's for starters. Will they do anything about it? Of course not. Why? That's open to debate...

I'm not talking about what they do, I mean talking about what sort of organisation they COULD be or SHOULD be. Not necessarily the same thing, but hence why it's a good debate and shouldn't be deflected.
