A £6 million pound offer, I wonder who thought of this one ?
Paul , being the head coach did you think of Stuart Armstrong ?
PC : "Err no my experience is in Spain, France Germany, the Premier League ,oh and Derby ."
Ok ,Steve and Jason have you heard of the Celtic Winger?
JL :" No surree, The only Celtics, we have heard of are the Boston Celtics ! Are we adding Isaiah Thomas to the roster, he may not have any soccer experience as he is basketball player, but then again we didn't take experience into consideration when we employed Bob Bradley !"
Oh God !!! , Huwbert have you heard of this player ?
HJ :"Well yes, I was chatting to Brendan at Tatey's game ,he did mention this guy and he was coming out of contract. So I thought he would be a perfect replacement for Siggy! Now initially I did think about offering my usual £5 million deal, but as it was Celtic and Rodgers, I upped it a million as not to look mean ! If I can get a couple more of those we'll be laughing ! "

"Well Paul, perhaps when you said you wanted players with Premier League experience, you should have been more specific."

Friend of mine who is a big Celtic fan says " Armstrong is a class act - we want to keep him but the agent is effing around." He reckons he's worth at least £10m.

TBH, I don't know nothing about him, but the few cheap buys we had in the last window, Carrol, Olsson, Ayew and even Mawson in the window before, were good buys. I know we have a long list of shite Huw specials before that. But if the stats guy (Dan Altman?) has had anything to do with the upturn in success of these cheap buys, maybe this Armstrong lad may be another. And buying cheap players who go onto be a success then selling them on for high prices is a great strategy.
Good luck, Mr Cooper

Are our scouts limited to Scotland and the Midlands? He looks good on highlights but per earlier comment, Sinclair is a world beater up there against shit defenders.

Scotland stopped producing great footballers sometime in the 70s. Their League has been a joke since the mid 90s. And now, in the 2010s, Swansea City decide to source Premier League standard players from there...because they're cheap.
Fancied getting that off my chest but actually I think this lad is quite good and would like to take a punt...not as a bloody Siggy replacement though!
There's a few decent players in this league (who I'd have here) that have come from the Scottish league mind. It's a gamble though, of course.
This will cause some laughter but here goes I'd have Sinclair back here to, Armstrong is a good player not sure I'd have him instead of Siggy though, but Huw loves a bargain, if Rogers lets him go you'd have to wonder if he would be good enough.

Rogers doesn't want him to go, they have offered him a new contract, but he's holding out and is in the last year of his contract
You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game

I think you've hit the nail on the head, Max.
If Big Nose is sniffing around Celtic, it'll be our ex player he's after - Sinclair. £5 million, job done.

Loving f*ck! What is the worl.....etc.
You make a good point, mr K., maybe we should not be skimping on Siggy's replacement.

Still I'm not sure how well he'll do in the Prem, for 6 mill its worth a punt and if it comes off happy days, we'll have another large transfer fee and he'll have a windfall.
That's the end of another chapter in the SCFC book of transfer rumours then.
Agent to HJ I've got an excellent prospect, he really wants to play for you and he's nearly out of contract. HJ Yes I've seen him he looks good how much do you think they'll take. Agent £5-£6m should do it. HJ Good I will make an enquiry. Agent to player You have been offered a new contract on much improved terms. Job done.

It's hypnotism, I tell thee...
