I'm almost ashamed to say I smiled when Man U scored against us !!! Their fans went nuts in celebration -- but then I remembered I'm watching the Swans -- Where we have come from eh !!!!! -- they must of respected us !!

Hardly a bogey team tho - almost like saying we are Everton’s bogey team with a win and draw this season. |
Just passing on what they were saying.These guys were in their 40's and 50's and remember us beating them in the old first division as well.And to beat a side like United 3 times in our last 4 meetings, I think a bogey side is quite befitting and not as off the mark as you suggest.We used to call Norwich our bogey side quite recently for beating us 3 times in a row. I guess when you are used to beating everyone on a regular basis, even 2 or 3 defeats can make it appear a team is a bogey team.
Edit: Just because we are a “small” club. I’d guess their record v Chelsea or Man City is not that great. [Post edited 22 Feb 2015 22:36]

Yep.Only Chelsea and Man City have beaten them as many times as we have since we got promoted and considering the size difference of club and apparent difference in class then we're obviously a problem for them and their fans seemed to agree. | | | |

I think what the OP was saying is that the Man U supporters were going nuts to get in the lead. Normally top teams expect it against lower teams and it is followed by moderate applause and a pi$$ take. They hoped they were on their way to an important and difficult win.
Very much like our reaction when we won. Normally I am chuffed to bits and clapping. This time I was high fiveing and hugging total strangers.
I for one understand where the OP is coming from. We are no longer seen as an easy 3 points but a team to be respected. |  |
