Definatley! But the point is the 3 match ban was unfair as it was nothing to do with football and he should just shut up.

If you're going to use The Twitter the least you could do is make an effort to racially abuse my mum or call my sister a slag.

I can't see it stopping.
I can't see how clubs can stop players talking about anything outside of football. But when a player calls someone else's mum a sket 'cos they said something about his mum then that's not a footballing matter and nothing to do with the FA.
Players should however keep their traps shut when it comes to football. I could very easily make criticisms of my company on FB but there are quite a few colleagues, as well as my boss, as 'friends' and I'd quite probably and rightly get in trouble if I did. So I don't. | | | |
