Although I cannot disagree with most on that article I would say however that this is the same bloke who never says a positive thing about QPR in previous articles and is always waiting for us to fall so he can write more stuff about us. I wonder if he is related to the Wally that was a 'Wally' at QPR? If so I can see where all this hate for Redknapp and Fernandes comes from? Not happy with the situation at QPR but we don't need wannabe jorno's like jr here rubbing salt into the wounds because he has some agenda.

Spot on about rio has had a poor 7 games and responsible for a lot of the goals conceded.
How is Robert Green getting away with such little criticism? Starting with the goal against Hull. It was poor marking by Ferdinand but the header had no power on it and Green is just standing there watching. He's not moving across his goal or making a desperate dive. The first goal yesterday, maybe he could have come out and punched the ball? It was going across the 6 yard box. Certainly don't blame him for all the goals we have conceded but he doesn't seem to command his box that well.

Rob Green's a barometer keeper. When we play well (rarely) he's excellent. When we're bad, he's worse. He's doesn't seem to be the kind of goalie who can lift a team with a couple of impossible saves. Mind you with the defence he has in front of him it's hard not to be a little bit sympathetic. Be nice if he was the type of keeper who'd get in his team-mates ear sometimes though. Instead he just stands there like a puppy who's just peed on the carpet.

It does seem that way. He was hardly jumping around appealing for hand ball on the first goal yesterday. In fact he had his hand up as if he was asking if he could go to the toilet !!

We actually scouted Andy Robertson and probably decided we had enough left backs already; plus it's not as if we've not at least started to sign younger players more frequently again.
To infer Redknapp / our scouting team would be out in Italy to scout Isla who didn't start often and Vargas who was in La Liga is a bit confused.
Did Rio Ferdinand really "give a goal away against Southampton"? I know he stupidly gave a ball away which a few passes later led to a goal soon after but... Does he mean Hull?
Plus criticism of Hoddle as someone who "won't improve the way QPR defend set pieces"; when Wally Downes came in and arguably helped make QPRs defence markedly worse last season is something he could have possibly left out?

If you sit near the goal you'll find out that Green is shouting at his defence all game long.
Some truth in it for sure, but it ignores the signings of Caulker and McCarthy, presumably because they don't fit the narrative, and the criticism of Fernandes because he brought Remy around for a bite in the hope of getting him to re-sign is a bit petty.

another good podcast, WD jnr does sound like the main guy form the inbetweeners though
Thought the podcast was terrible with his constant butting in. Likes the sound of his own voice does Walter. Won't be wanting to hear him again anytime soon.
