God yes. It's impossible to walk around Manchester (or any city centre) without seeing a teenager in a Ramones shirt. Their shirt sales correlation with their music popularity is just wrong. Nobody listens to them yet everybody wears them.

I have a Ramones t-shirt and about 4 of their albums. Great band. Don't tar all the young 'ins with the same brush Chaff!
Agree re: Muse though. Saw them at Leeds the other year where they became the first band I ever walked away from half way through a set. I did the same with Foo Fighters 12 months later.

Now now, we're just having a little debate here. All I'm saying is just because a band sells millions of records doesn't necessarily mean that they are great band (just look at some of the artists in the link that are above Kiss will confirm that) Some of the greatest bands that have ever existed we'll of never heard of.

Theressome bizarre choices for over rated bands here, I mean The Beatles come on they influenced popular music as we know it and are still doing. U2 get a mention I agree post Joshua Tree they went a bit off the boil but before that some brilliant music. Anyway here's my selections;
Coldplay- mostly dross plus Martin is biffing Jennifer Lawrence the jammy git.
