Without seeing who posted this I knew it was you.

Never miss an opportunity to get your TF digs in do you? Who, other than HR haters, could've foreseen our demise with his experience. Let's not forget, he was being touted as, and was the 'people's choice for the next England manager only months before taking the job.

Amit knows about as much about football as you so stop you inane comments against the best, most transparent chairmen we could've wished for.

Many on here are quick to praise Warnock and Adel for our promotion winning season yet forget the sterling work Amit did under the spectre of Briatore.

TF is a great (part) owner but has so far failed miserably as chairman. He's had his pants pulled down more times than Jordan. Also too transparent for my liking, should take more of a back seat rather than court the limelight,

Far longer? Not really. He played 2nd fiddle in the Flavio days and wasnt even the main man when we went up. Not knocking the guy, his time will come but he doesnt have any more experience than TF,

Personally I will back TF to the hill. His plans for the mid to long term are fantastic, he just needs to get the short term plans in order. He backed Harry this year, you cant blame him for that.

He was the main man. Briatore had to step down in the wake of the Piquet scandal and Amit stepped up to the breach. The stability he brought to the board room was instrumental to our success. Indeed, his first move was to bring in none other than Neil Warnock.

Bhatia also knew the type of manager he wanted, an experienced gaffer with a proven track record of promotions. AB wanted NW from the off and went and got his man from Palace.
I don't think TF has a clue of what type of manager he wants and the two he has employed have both run rings round him.

If HR is likely to go if we don't go up then he should go now. The rest of this season may not be enough time for a new manager to turn the team around, but it'll give whoever it is a much better shot at doing a good job over the summer and next season.

It seems pretty clear that, as has been suggested, HR bet everything on promotion this year; if McClaren had stayed it might have come off, but it looks like being a catastrophe even if by some miracle we were to win the play-offs.

‘morbid curiosity about where this is all going’

He took over a side that finished top 5 and were having a bad start to the season, spuds were never going to go down and even MH would have saved them. Remember Liverpools start a few tears back when they were in the bottom 4 after 10 games but finished top 6.

Harry spent a total of £97m while at spuds , this may answer your question as to how / why did Levy find him out......

never silent about my feelings for our own earth, wind and fire!!.

from the last couple of managerial appointments i think it is abundantly clear we need a football man in at boardroom level.

there is a role here for someone who can balance the needs of the board/manager and fans. a man to be the buffer between tony and whoever the manager may be.

a man perhaps who has QPR mineral woven into his mullet and was one of our finest players, a man who captained england and was one of our finest managers.

gerry francis .

if we can afford say ,a hundred thousand pounds a week in wages on these loan signings, perhaps a somewhat more mediocre outlay can bring some sort of sense and longterm solution to our club , rather than than the sight of yossi looking like a crazed alice cooper/iggy pop in a hooped shirt.

tell you what , might bring a bit of pride back to supporters like me,wood hoop etc who have felt nothing but allination for the last few years.

Well I hope and I pray

That maybe someday

You'll walk in the room with my heart

Add and subtract

But as a matter of fact

Now that you're gone I still want you back .

Not so sure about Francis, one of the old school, maybe wrong but don't think he has to have hooped blood, just common sense would be a good start.

I am not savvy enough to pick our next manager but TF has until the end of the season, HR is making a pigs ear of things and some of the dross he has taken on would make it difficult for any new man to have the time to sort out some form of new shape with which he could have confidence in.

TF should however not jump in for yet another 'quick fix' he has around three months to see how the cards fall and just where we will be playing next season, time enough to sort out a 'hit list' of candidates he may think are suitable, who would be on the list is anyone's guess but maybe a Director of Football is the way to go and be top of his list, with good coaches also of high importance, whether that means promoting from within (no not Harry's mates) Furlong has appealed to me, great pro and taken some of his badges, which are a requirement, if taken the same attitude into coaching as playing can surely help our strikers.

The manager can then be appointed, with a remit that some of the coaches in place will not be replaced and he has to look at it as a job where all teams at the club will be trying to emulate the ethos of the first team, so be adventurous, keep the game simple, much easier for the younger players to take on board and practice to a high standard, hopefully advancing to the first team, there still will be casualties, some just won't make the grade, but at least give them a fighting chance, unless your close to using a zimmer frame under HR, seems you don't get on his radar.

TF does have not an easy job in replacing HR but he has tried one way only and it has not been an easy ride, if HR does get us promoted then don't worry about whether we stay there, plan to be a yo yo club for a couple of seasons, put the building blocks in place for a more positive outlook, still a big risk but I am sure plenty of us would back that more than continually chpping and changing both managers and players.

The worry for me is TF will go for a Laudrup,Zola type manager because thats all he knows. I can't imagine TF sits there on a sunday morning reading the papers thinking 'Oh that Pressley at Coventry has done a v.good job on limited resources' or 'i like how the Crewe manager has brought through so many academy players'.

This is where somebody with a wider knowledge of the game on the board would be beneficial, somebody who is thinking a move ahead, identiyfing , monitoring progress, contract statuses etc.

Exactly this. When people say "blame the manager, not TF" it's this that they're overlooking.

It amazes me how ordinary football fans take notice of what's going on at other clubs yet professionals who get paid an absolute fortune to run the club haven't got a clue.

Amit was chairman during our promotion season.

He wasn't, Paladini was.

edit: From Wiki "Paladini retained his position as chairman at QPR despite the investment of significant new shareholders in the latter half of 2007 and the re-organisation of the club's directors which, among other changes, included the son-in-law of billionaire Lakshmi Mittal taking a place on the board. Paladini was removed as chairman on 18 August 2011 after a takeover by Tony Fernandes and became a consultant for the club. He quit his post at Queen's Park Rangers FC on 16 November 2011."

Let's face it, this is all a bit shit really. Who hasn't had enough?

I would rather Harry and Cronies were bundled into the taxi now, Gallen and Furlong put in charge till end of the season, and proper research into the best young manager around undertaken, to be in place at the season's end.

Harry changed a few faces - but the same arrogant culture has persisted. That's what has to change.

Its time we re-discovered our humility.
