A good match. In spite of conceding 3 goals there were signs of promise in Rs performance. They attacked with pace, managed some crisp first-time passing, pressed and showed some good movement. The problem was Swansea did most of this better than us, esp pressing. They robbed our players several times, or maybe we gave the ball away or were out-muscled. They got away with a few fouls but generally pressed and tackled well. And they finished. We created a number of openings but often failed to hit the target.
Warbs made good positive substitutions although in retrospect it would have been good to bring on Chair when Amos was injured and move Smith back. Chair has looked very good in his sub appearances this season and must be due a starting place.
If we can stop giving away silly goals and improve our shooting the season should improve considerably. And then again I've watched Rangers long enough to know that hope isn't usually enough.

Sunderland fan here. Just to let you all know we all think you were robbed. Everyone was very impressed by your energy and confidence. We looked totally second best and but for two or three good performers.... at CH and GK mainly.... we would have deservedly lost. Good luck for the season, am sure you'll be top 8 for the whole season.

Could've been 10-0 if Prowsey, Romeu and Hojberg had stayed at home.

Credit to Hutch for re-integrating Sofiane Boufal and bringing in Djenepo, discredit to Hutch for a lousy team selection that would have cost us dearly but for the red card and sticking with players like Ings who never deliver and Ward Drowse who seems to have no clear position that he can nail down. Ref good today.

Good win considering the bad starting line up. It is time to drop the under preforming JWP. Next Saturday I would start Djenepo and Boufal. I would also start Long instead of Ings and maybe Cedric instead of Valery.

I would like to know when our hard pressing and chasing down every ball is going to start. Another lack lustre performance from saints. Brighton still looked more fit and up for it than us. At times it looked like we had ten men only thing that helped us what a great goal.

Game of 2 halves. Poor in the first 45, dominant in the second. As a result player ratings difficult to judge - depends which half you count. Thought Lumley might have done better for Wigan goal and Barbet was esp poor in first half so putting Leistner on was an excellent substitution. One of the great strengths of Warbs, so far, is his use of subs.

But in the second half Eze and esp Chair were brilliant, well, very good at least. So in spite of not playing as well as they did on Wednesday an excellent 3 points.

Interesting isn't it. Last week we played well in the first half but lost. This week we didn't play as well but got 2 really good goals and won. Looking at these comments though you would have thought we had lost again. I agree though with some of the above Boufal deserves a start.
