The odds on the next Leeds boss?
The odds on the next Leeds boss?

So who do the bookies think is in the frame to be Gary Mac's successor?

Understandably Gus Poyet is odds on favourite at 5/6, according to OLBG sports - the man from Uruguay was in the crowd on Saturday at MK Dons - galvanising the speculation that he is coming back a year after going to Tottenham.

At 5-1 is Aidy Boothroyd, recently departed from Watford. At 7-1 you could put your money on Billy Davies, who has not worked since his rollercoster ride at Derby. John Sheridan, who has worked wonders at Oldham on a budget and is a former Leeds hero of course is also available at sevens.

Simon Grayson is in the running at 8-1, but would he want to drop a Division and leave the relative security of life by the seaside at Blackpool to come to Elland Road - where he began his career as a youngster.

The longshots include Dennis Wise (10-1)!!! What about Leeds being Iain Dowie's seventh club? (12-1) or also at 12-1 you can have Joe Royle, currently managing in the Middle-East but at expert at getting clubs such as Oldham and Manchester City up the Divisions.
