QPR lose Leeds battle, but win Championship war — full match report

Thank god for Foxtel in Melbourne Australia as I have good coverage and especially of late QPR matches. Had a few friends around on Saturday night (including a Leeds tragic) for a brilliant night. The result didn't matter so much as the atmosphere from the crowd was electric. I was supposed to be there but our directors decided to put the company up for sale so I have been tied up with the auditors. So all the better now to visit next season.

I spent from 1974 - 1980 in the UK and very rarely missed a match. I was fortunate to be able to travel the country to watch many Rangers matches. I used to meet the same people each week at Loftus Road and had a ball with their company. Christ I miss it all.

Thank you Clive for all your reports which I read both at home and at work and you make me feel that I was there. Your insight is amazing.

Look forward to a visit next season. Scarf is in the back of the car which has raised a few comments. Maybe people here will know us a well as some of the larger clubs. Onwards and upwards. Go your RRRR's. Malcolm Turner
