Surely the director in charge of finances at the time (who is very much still here, despite that statement) would have had to approve payment to the pitch contractors. Sick to death of him getting an easy ride when he was a large part of Bottomley’s shenanigans. |

I was watching on ifollow and it didn't take a genius to work out that there was another game taking place on a nearby pitch. In fact, one would have to be pretty slow on the uptake not to realise that this was the case.
Quite apart from the fact that you have put 2 and 2 together and got 156, what I can't understand is why someone would carry out an investigation into a total stranger who has simply taken the trouble to provide an answer to the opening post. Totally weird.
By the way, I'm guessing that fans were not allowed at the game.
I shall now return you to the ignored list, together with your sidekick.. It annoyed me having to temporarily remove you from it in order to respond to your stupidity.

I know exactly who you are and it’s not the person whose name you posted on here in the past before quickly editing it (not quickly enough though) - MC were the initials. I remember your Charlton story well and it was an absolute crock of shite - saying you could hear a game going on (during covid - which only professional clubs were able to do) on another pitch just from watching at home was laughable. You’re a fraud just like your bent mate was.

Again, you’ve summed it up for me. I’ve always been a staunch supporter of the trust but I’ve not bothered renewing this season for the first time I can remember. Murray is a truly wonderful bloke but I don’t think the club respect him or the trust itself and the lack of leadership since George resigned is incredibly obvious. Might be harsh but I don’t think they can be arsed anymore. |

Oldham remind me of bury circa 2015. Both owned by egomaniacs who have to get their face on everything whenever the press visit their club. Both owners telling their fans they are bigger than they actually are to get them onside and they fall for it like the dimwits they are. Both owners chucking stupid money at mercenaries to achieve promotion (worked out great for bury didn’t it?).
In all my time of watching football, I’ve actually never seen anything as cringeworthy as their pied piper leading them on a march though. I’d be embarrassed to see our club do anything like this.
