Yes, you are correct about the mention of the dispute with the pitch supplier. Dalenet mentions a small refund from the supplier as recorded in the latest accounts in an earlier post. |

That last sentence is where I am at too. The primary purpose of the club is to play competitive first team.games during a winter season and we should be geared up to get home games on given the geographical location. Exceptional inclement weather happens on occasion, but this week cannot be classed in the same way. Perhaps Mitchell isn't fit? |

Hitnets GM - Matt Rigby - is a fan of both clubs and had done great things at Hornets. Andy Mazey described him as his best signing yet. This continuing cooperation between both clubs is hugely encouraging. It'll still be off though. |

How we get our games called off - see below email from Hornets: The club can confirm that the upcoming 1895 Cup first preliminary round tie between Rochdale Hornets and Cornwall will be played at Rochdale Mayfield. The fixture will take place on Saturday 1 February (3pm kick-off). This decision has been made after consultation with Rochdale AFC, who welcome National League rivals Oldham to the Crown Oil Arena on the following Tuesday night. To ensure the pitch can remain in the best possible condition for both that fixture and the upcoming Betfred League 1 campaign, the tie has been switched to Rochdale Mayfield. Club officials from Rochdale Hornets and Rochdale Mayfield recently held positive talks concerning the future development of rugby league in the borough. Discussions took place to help consolidate our improved relationship, and a commitment was made from both clubs to work collaboratively whenever possible - this venue change being a prime example of that. We thank both Cornwall and Rochdale Mayfield for their cooperation. The 1895 Cup fixture will form part of a wider day of events at Rochdale Mayfield, with further details to be announced in due course. The winners of the game will go on to face Swinton Lions in the next round. So, it's bound to be off if Mitchell isn't fit. |

Goodbye and good riddance to Steve Eyre. As deluded a manager as there ever was. |

It doesn't prevent such a scenario. However, we have in place owners of the highest integrity with a commitment to providing the Golden share and looking to implement all the positives from the fan led review. |

The purpose of the Golden share is to provide protection against unscrupulous owners, which we do not have. It is a generational investment, and although things can change, our ownership is borne out of philanthropic principles and not on making a healthy return. We have got extremely lucky, in my opinion. We should embrace it, even if we have to exercise some patience. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/fan-led-review-of-football-governance |

We have nothing to worry about re the Golden share offer. It was stated at the last forum that this issue would have to be incorporated into the clubs articles of association and accepted by shareholders at a general meeting. See the York experience here https://www.ycst.org.uk/golden-share-process-complete/ Anyone who has seen our existing articles would need to be expert in hieroglyphics in order to interrrogate them, although one stalwart has painstakingly written them up in a very helpful Word document, which has been submitted to Jamie. As.a poster above has already posted, the clarity of the accounts submitted to shareholders is something to behold and as the accompanying email states, this meeting is an outlier. We can expect a much more shareholder friendly approach to general.meetings next year. The Trust did push for the AGM to be held nearer the accounts filing date,.and last year had to remind the board in November for the need to actually hold an AGM. |

Not sure anyone from the Trust posted any Trust info on here for a long time, but they are excellent across other social media platforms. |

As expected, it was not a full response from the Trust (not the club, I might add). The third question remains unanswered, as it did when you asked. Further, it appears there was only action taken after the receipt of my email, so it can be assumed that the answer is no in both cases. |

Great to get a response, however indirectly received, although I did have the question count at 3. |
