Need to get back to winning ways today......but no games are easy. We managed to mess up when we met Ebbsfleet in October.....winning 2-0 at HT we conceded twice (another long distance shot from half way keeper gone missing and a penalty) for 2-2 draw.

Let's get at them from the off.

Solar panels work in cloudy conditions as well as sun light but are not as efficient. The tilt of the panels is important, again for optimum efficiency .

Club needs to get a written guarantee on the work undertaken, not just the vocal 7 minutes jobby we had on the pitch.

Forgetting the "bus Shelter" Sandy Lane , could the other stands be fitted with solar panels.

The Willbutts Stand must catch a lot of late/evening sun.

On the subject of spending on ground improvements, the Club must be applauded for dipping into finances and getting the rain covers that surely without which yesterday's game would have been postponed. There is still the problem of the sterile swamp in the corner which looked as bad as, well done groundstaff.

Big Match,Big Flop......it's what we do. Where was the urgency as the game petered out into big boot stuff. Yes,we have very gifted young players but our good passing game was sadly missing tonight and no one could hold the ball up against solid defenders and a pressing midfield. And the big fella, Latics equivalent of Adebayo Akinfenwa was a capable defender as well as a proper handful in attack. Why not put in a cross from time to time as we attack and pass sideways, it might just cause some chaos?
......and have a shot!
Got what we deserved, sweet fanny adams.

Onwards to Saturday and reset.

Set off like train....chances missed. Latics are getting a foot-in much better than us....hope our youngsters have more staying power 2nd half. We need it. Fondop do-da is a handful for all our defenders.

Mind you it was from the Hartlepool Argus or something.

Still, we live in hope.

Sutton are still in the Trophy so we might draw them from the last 8 .......would prefer a home draw obviously as there are a couple of long distant Southern based teams which we good do to avoid.

The draw is Monday 3.15 on Talksport, Dale are ball no 7.

Dale pocket £6k for today's win and there is £7500 for next round. Pay for a few tonnes of sand.

Let's have a formal thread for a big game.
No news of any injuries so far but will McNulty rest a couple of players with important League games pending. This is knockout game and must be concluded today. Please lets get it over before extra time and dreaded penalties( although the action at Stockton Town was riveting.)

Get cracking and attacking, like we can.

Agree,if this was next week and the Oldham Massive were already hot footing it up Roche Valley Way there would be pandemonium on an already explosive situation.

What plans are in hand to get this recurring problem sorted? More sand?

Picked up the postponement message on "X".......eleven words and again no apology to all the fans that are already on the road.
There will be many angry supporters hanging around right now.

This Club will always let you down.
