Geraldo. The Chairman said he wanted someone 'young and vibrant' who had more experience than Keith Hill, when the latter was appointed a manager of Rochdale.
Steve Eyre fits that bill perfectly, and the Chairman is to be congratulated on the appointment. When our club can lure an established and well respected member of staff from a key position at a Premiership club, then you know we are doing something right.
Far from feeling 'cheated' as you put it, I think this is a forward looking, exciting appointment, and I wish him well. |
