It was an exciting game. (I'm kicking myself that I turned down a ticket that my mate offered me!) Fortunately France dropped 4 or 5 try scoring opportunities, otherwise it would have been another desperate defeat.
Congrats Disco. I've got to 60, via several 5-15 year relationships (and three sons), but always managed to avoid the marriage thing. As the saying goes "Women marry men hoping they will change. Men marry women hoping they will not." I guess after 14 years you both know what your getting now... I hope you have a great day (and marriage).
P.S. I would go for this tune (although I very much doubt that my current missus would accept it)
Played a lot of darts 40 years ago. Had quite a few 11 dart finishes, but never had shot at a nine. Best snooker break is only 45. Once got down the par five, fifth hole at RAF Marham in 19 shots with six balls lost! My best hope for glory would be breaking the world pike record (which I think is about 58lbs at the moment).
There is a lady in my online weigh training group called Shelley Stetner. She first walked into a gym when she was 65 years old, having spent most of her life drinking, smoking and definitely not exercising. Nowadays, aged 73, she holds four powerlifting world records in her weight class (63kg), and the other day I saw her lift over 150kg (330lbs). I know plenty of much younger blokes at my gym who can't lift that much.
I can't help thinking that Fury weighing in heavier than the last fight is going to make him more ponderous rather than more powerful. But maybe his magic beard will soak up all the extra punches.
The Scottish village of Dull is officially twinned with Boring in Oregon, USA, and Bland in Australia. Together, they celebrate their names with events like "Dull Days" and "Boring Nights".
