Given what we had available and what we was trying a 3-5-1-1 would have made more sense with possibly Naughton in midfield as we have so few options. Vipotnik ahead of Cullen.
What he went with made zero sense at all. |

Coventry had 3 playing central midfield against our 2. We were out numbered from the start and had 4 wide players on the pitch. We had arguably 5 more wide players on the bench.
The squad is thin and unbalanced.
The players we have spent money on are regressing. It's a shambles everywhere you look |

It's very difficult to see what he was trying to do yesterday. Possibly a back 3 with wing backs, then 2 wingers in front of them and Cullen up front. That leaves very little through the middle and lots of width crossing to no one.
First half of the season the squad showed that they could compete and were a midtable side.
Since the West Brom saga we are the worst side in the division by some way.
