REAMS have been written about ex-Deputy PM
Dominic Raab, much of it by the man himself, who clearly feels he's the
victim of an ins snowflake assault.
Whether or not he's a workplace bully remains to be categorical determined.
But yes, Dom's clearly not a little ray of
sunshine, spreading joy and cheer to all and sundry around the photocopier.
But is that an offence you should resign over?
While, in this day and age, there is no place for mean, cruel, gaslighting bosses - those abusing their power just for the sake of it - the under-30s shouldn't cry wolf (or, indeed, cry) every time they get pulled up for unsatisfactory or slipshod work.
It's the work place. Not a holiday camp. When ever will a bollocking be anything but anymore. |

Gary’s a ðŸ›Žï¸ end. So are the band wagon mob like Wright and Scott. Even those who weren’t asked to present are standing down from presenting. How beggy can you get haha. But so long as certain people blow smoke up their arses for being “brave” they’ll revel in it and be no worse off themselves. Nothing will change, it’s just this week/months social media “political” nonsense that whatever the consequence gets us nowhere but backward.
MOTD would be so much better without punditry anyway. So this might be the best things that’s happened to the BBC and its licence fee payers. |

I spend a lot of time with the Afghan National Army. For the later part of my time out there I was mentoring them. Spending all day everyday with them, even sleeping besides them. And I can tell you now, that they did not hate me for being British. My translator assured me of that, it was in fact quite the opposite. He personally kept telling me how he appreciated everything Britain had done for him and his family and how his life had/has changed for the better as a result.
The taliban themselves would just blend back into the community and pop back out once we’d gone. Hide behind their wives and children if they had to, knowing we could do nothing. Which is what the did en mass once we’d left pretty much. If that = “embarrassing defeat” then I’m not ashamed.
So since what you’ve said there is a load of sh** the rest can be assumed to be as such. |

Totally embarrassed?? I spent plenty of time in the middle east (in Afghan at least) and to suggest we were "totally embarrassed" screams that you have no understanding.
In fact it's really wound me up that you would just throw that statement out there having had nothing to do with it but sit on your arse and watch it all unfold.

I haven’t read his book. I’m not keen on him anymore, not since the whole Megan per-lava. She’s a right beauty in my opinion and I don’t fancy reading her regurgitation through him in his book. Would’ve been a good read if it were not for that (all be it my personal assumption). I’m sure much of it is interesting, but now I feel even his interpretation has been twisted. So for me this book is a few years “too” late. |
